The app that aims to help immigrants and refugees navigate American life.
It’s difficult entering a new country for the first time. You lack the connections and basic information of how things work or where things are.
Our client's goal is to create a centralized platform where immigrants and refugees can learn how to navigate the American life style, and become a place where they can find answers to their questions, so that our home can become their home as well.
Looking at possible areas of need, we decided on four major topics:
Education
Home Life
Workplace
Community
An Information Architecture displays how the user can interact with the app. Below is the initial layout of the ReSettle app, and how a user might navigate it.
These sketches will later become the interface of the app design.
Anything Low-Fidelity simply means that it is of a simple and working quality to test basic interactions. Below are some Low-Fi layouts of the app interface.

User-Friendly features within arm's reach can really help people facing unfamiliar situations or circumstances. ReSettle empowers immigrants to face uncertainty, offering to guide and connect, so that the journey can be less daunting.
